So ready for it to be summer so I can get a break from school.
So ready that I am finding it very hard to concentrate on finals.

1 week and 1 day until school is over.
2 weeks and 2 days until I drive home.
I was so ready for the end of this year. People are exhausting.

I did so much nothing today. It was wonderful after such a busy weekend. Going to be productive the rest of this week so I can have a super fun weekend.
Ever since I was little I wanted a garden. My house did not have the best growing patches and my mother and I do not exactly have the same taste in plants.
Someday I will have a small little vegetable garden. I’m not sure what I’ll grow yet, but I’m sure they’ll be fun. I want a little strawberry patch with mint leaves growing near by. I want cherry trees all around. Big rose bushes. Scatterings of tulips and daffodils every spring. I’ll buy snap dragons every single year because I’m so fond of them. I’ll have a little bench to sit outside and read near the trees. Even though everyone thinks it’s crazy, I would love to have a piano in my garden. Just an old one, it could be completely broken but as long as it’s made of wood I wouldn’t care. I think it would be so pretty.
That’s enough silly ramblings for tonight about future wants.
I finished Game of Thrones. Finally. It was very good. I was annoyed that the person I borrowed the first book from does not have the second one yet, but I’ve missed the waiting for the next book. Even though waiting can be the worst…
However, this waiting has given me the chance to start Dorian Gray. I was in love by page ten. In two days and no time, somehow I have gotten to page sixty. I highly recommend it.
I’m pretty sure that if Oscar Wilde and I lived in the same time frame, we would be the type of friends who agree on big things, but annoy the hell of each other with the small things. Either way, I love this man.
I don’t put them down to eat. Amateurs.
Except I have no time to read what I want because of things I have to read for class or rehearsals and then social life gets in the way of any free time during the day!
If sleep wasn’t important, I’d give it up every once in awhile just to read.
Went pretty damn well if I do say so myself. Don’t worry, I won’t get cocky and drop the ball tomorrow. But I did NOT expect to get through the whole first act tonight. I’m floored, absolutely floored. Marc was a complete pain and a half with his set and the projections are just stupid, but other than that it just went so well! I teared up afterward when talking with Terri because I was so tired and happy. I love working with her, she is amazing.
I’m just so happy. I love working in theatre. Even days when the people drive me crazy and I just get so tired, the end result is always worth it. Emilee and I were talking about how putting on a play is like giving birth in a way. The labor part sucks, but the end is so great that we forget all the madness and just want to do it all over again!
While I hope to act again one day in show and not just in a class, I really feel like I’ve found something awesome with stage managing. I’m SO looking forward to directing as well. I really think I’ll love doing that.
I’m sore and tired and ecstatic. Here’s to more great tech days!!

Today I got grocceries and spent my time making art instead of essays. There’s still time in this beautiful day to get it done, but let’s not get carried away with overestimating my productivity.
Future Kate tomorrow afternoon is going to be so mad. Past Kate from yesterday is already disappointed. Present Kate is getting melted crayon everywhere.
